On Saturday I helped out 10,000 Tastes I was there from 11am to 4pm, spending most of my time passing out coupons and leaflets to people passing by and letting people know that there was FREE FOOD to be had!
It was a fantastic turnout and they gave out almost 8000 Gardein veggie burgers. There were lots of booths with free samples from Silk, Daiya, Earth Balnce, New Moon Kitchen and more. Toronto Vegetarian Association was there, as well as Snooters Farm ANimal Sanctuary, Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary, and Wishing Well Sanctuary.

The Main Stage

People with their free burgers.

The line up was REALLY long at times.

Rip Esselstyn was there signing books and he gave a talk in the morning.

There was lots of fun stuff for kids! Face painting too.

Daiya Vegan Cheese was there and I got to try their new Havarti Wedges. SO GOOD! Must find in a store in Toronto!

All in all, it was a fun day and a total success. Can’t wait until next years!
